Routine checkups will always include a thorough assessment of your teeth, gum health, screening for oral cancer and preventative advice on how best to care for your teeth.
We are committed to helping you understand how to maintain the health of your mouth and keeping it free of tooth decay and gum disease.
Regular Dental Care
It is estimated that half the population do not visit a dentist regularly. Irregular dental treatment and attendance often results in more extensive and, consequently, more expensive dental treatment. If you attend regularly we are better able to maintain the health of your teeth, gums and mouth. Regular visits help cut down problems – and the bills! Why not sign up to our Denplan Scheme?
Tailored Dental Care Plans
At RF Dental Care we tailor your examination appointment interval after we have assessed your risk of developing tooth decay or gum disease. We may advise that we see you every 3 months for high risk individuals and conversely every 12 months for low risk individuals.
Replacement of an old silver amalgam filling due to decay underneath. This was picked up on x-rays at a routine examination appointment. The new filling was done in white composite. Work carried out at RF Dental Care.
Regular attendance ultimately means:
- * Fewer fillings
- * Less dental decay
- * Less likelihood of toothache
- * More attractive teeth
- * More choice
- * Reduced costs
- * Keeping your own teeth for life
